Another visit with the Great Blue Heron that frequents Cherry Point Lookout.
But today was much more interesting as he fishes in the rain for dinner.
It sure seems like a big fish in comparison to his wee beak?
Seriously??
He dropped it a few times....and picked it back up.
Either he is playing with his food or following the 5 second rule?
Coming out of the stormy, wavy waters to rest from a hard day of fishing.
Shake it off.....drying the feathers.....
But then he heads back over to find that dang fish again......Really? He never actually ate that fish.....
The view out to sea this afternoon. Pouring rain and a wee bit chilly. And what's that? An entire tree coming in to shore. Whoops.....
