The Last 100 km to Vancouver, BC

Leaving Kamloops and today we are going to Vancouver.
I can't believe we are almost there.

Before we left Ontario, my son Rob, and partner Stephanie, gave us a travel bag filled with goodies for the trip across Canada.  Including Tim Horton gift cards that kept us topped up with coffee and yummies until Kamloops this morning!
What an awesome gift to give us.

Curving hills and valleys.

A little intimidating to read the signs on the side of the roads.  Yikes.

Incredible farm lands all through the provinces from Ontario.

More signs....
The worst for me was the 'avalanche area' signs when we were travelling through British Columbia.

Closer to Vancouver the mountains become more gentle hills.  Incredible green fields and vineyards every where.

Coming into Vancouver.....'head over the bridge Debbie.'
So excited.....

We are staying in North Vancouver for a few days.  It is quite tiring to drive across country even though we loved every minute of it.
But this will help us recharge our batteries before our ferry ride to the island.

Fog and mist over Grouse Mountain in the distance.
The Comfort Inn near Capilano Suspension Bridge in North Vancouver.

How lucky are we?  Having experienced Autumn in Ontario before we left and now Vancouver is also still in Fall season so we get to enjoy it all over again!!
